The Oswestry Business Collective is moving its out-of-hours meetings to the premises of one of its members, Niche Patisserie.
Thanks to owners Adam and Sam Clarke-Booth, the group will now meet at Niche Patisserie, 9 Cross Street, Oswestry, on Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm on 12th and 26th August.
The Oswestry Business Collective was established to help overcome the sense of isolation often experienced by independent business owners in the town. The group particularly welcomes home-based businesses, sole traders, aspiring entrepreneurs, shopkeepers and small business owners, providing a supportive peer network where members can share their knowledge and experiences.
Meetings are held in a confidential and welcoming environment, giving business owners the opportunity to discuss challenges, exchange ideas and seek advice from fellow members.
Membership costs less than the price of a coffee each month, with meetings taking place twice monthly. Anyone interested in finding out more is encouraged to attend a meeting or contact the organiser.
Founder Mike Lade said: “We now have more than 25 businesses signed up, and any independent business is welcome to join us at Niche Patisserie on Cross Street in Oswestry.
“Come along on 12th and 26th August at 7.00pm, grab a tea or coffee from the counter and, if you’re lucky, there may even be some pastries left to enjoy. The evening begins with 30 minutes of networking before presentations on business-related topics and guest speakers.”
