A jam-packed night full of live entertainment to help save a locally produced TV Pilot project set in a care home takes place this weekend. The project was faced with having to fold after one of it’s star actors injured himself a matter of weeks before finishing filming, meaning the team needed to raise the budget from scratch and film it all again.
Henry House: BounceBack is taking place at Ty Pawb in Wrexham this Saturday night, in the city that the fictional Henry House care home is set and the leading lady in Henry House will be headlining on the night.
“Performing at BounceBack will be a thrill for sure but the effort to save Henry House has to work,” explains Órla Jones, who plays Izzy Orchard in the Pilot, “The story of acceptance and understanding, of the inside to the care community needs to be shared, and I can’t wait to be a part of that”.
BounceBack will also see the return of Christie Kelly, who was the former leading lady for the Oswestry-based production company behind Henry House. Unfortunately, Christie recalls a time when a similar film project supporting the SEND community couldn’t be saved. “I know what it’s like to see a project like this fail and I want to help to make sure that that doesn’t happen again.”
