Oswestry Prepcare Day Nursery is celebrating today as it reveals it has won a Platinum award – the highest possible level – from the highly regarded Quality Counts national award scheme, run by the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).
To commemorate their success, the children and staff at Oswestry Prepcare Day Nursery will this morning plant 132 seeds to represent the 132 areas they were assessed in, under the headings Play and Learning, Health, Safety and Well Being, Leadership and Management and Workforce.
What’s more the children will be experiencing some Animal Magic when they enjoy a visit from Zoolab later in the month to help continue with the celebrations.
Denise Kerr, manager at Oswestry Prepcare Day Nursery is thrilled with the award and comments, “We consistently work to deliver the very best care and environment for the young children that we look after in this very special nursery – to be recognised by such a well-respected national accreditation scheme in this way is wonderful and a testament to all the hard work of the team here. A perfect way to showcase the quality of service we offer.”
