TSB’s Partners in Oswestry are joining 150 plus other TSB Partners and families across Shropshire, North Wales and Staffordshire to raise £10,000 for 21 local charities in the area, by climbing Snowdon on 19th May.  TSB in Oswestry in particular is fundraising for its Local Charity Partner, Severn Hospice which gives specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.  Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.

Alex Honey, Branch Manager at TSB in Oswestry, said: “Severn Hospice is a vital part of our local community and we’re proud to have them as our Local Charity Partner.”

“Our team in Oswestry has worked hard, putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this event a success.  Customers have been so generous by making donations for such a fantastic cause.  At TSB we pride ourselves in supporting our local communities and we have really enjoyed our training so far.  It is fantastic to know the difference that our efforts will make to Severn Hospice.”

If anyone would like to donate, please come and see us at TSB in Oswestry, or visit our just giving page www.justgiving.com/fundraising/a-honey.

TSB’s sole focus is to serve local people and businesses which, in turn, helps fuel local economies across Britain.  Instead of having a centrally chosen Charity of the Year, Partners working at TSB are empowered to support a local cause that shares the Bank’s passion for helping local communities thrive.
