Leading North Wales and Shropshire law firm, GHP Legal, has appointed two new paralegals to support teams at its Wrexham head office.
Katie Roberts and Morgan Hanley, both post-graduates of the University of Law, Chester, have joined the firm’s Family and Prison Law teams.
With around one hundred staff and five offices sited in Wrexham, Oswestry, Llangollen and Chirk, GHP Legal is one of the largest independent law firms in the region and has remained fully operational throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Welcoming the new team members, GHP Legal Partner, Robert Williams, said:
“This has been a difficult year for both individuals and businesses and the COVID-19 situation has actually increased the need for legal services across almost every sector of the profession, so it has been imperative that we have stayed open for business. From domestic abuse cases to employment, commercial, conveyancing and civil cases, we have experienced an upsurge in enquiries.
“Fortunately, we have strong teams in all our offices, who have readily adapted to new ways of working to comply with COVID regulations whilst still providing the high standard of service our clients rightly expect. Our two new paralegals will be providing vital support to cope with the increased workload.”
