The managing director of Vauxhall Motors recently visited Arthurs Vauxhall in Oswestry, he said this was his first visit to the dealership, and Arthurs Operations Director, David Goldthorpe, added this was the first time any Vauxhall Managing Director had been to any of the Arthurs Group branches, and it was a great honour for us that he took time out of his busy schedule to come to Arthurs.
Stephen Norman, Vauxhall Group Managing Director was accompanied on his visit by Andy Robson, Dealer Network Director at Vauxhall Motors.
The visit was arranged by Vauxhall as they wanted to express their personal gratitude to the Arthurs team for many years of excelling at both customer satisfaction and car sales, plus they could personally present Arthurs with the 2019 Customer Excellence Award.
Whilst visiting Arthurs, Stephen and Andy had a meeting with David Goldthorpe, Arthurs Operations Director, and Nigel Williams, Arthurs Managing Director. David said the meeting went extremely well and Vauxhall were fully supportive to assisting Arthurs with their growth aspirations in the future.
David added, Stephen had been to the European press launch of the exciting new Corsa the previous day and Stephen described this fabulous new car as a ‘game changer’, and he said ‘it will attract many new customers to the Vauxhall family’.
Stephen said, ‘he had been to Oswestry once before, when he was 17 years old he drove his father to a business meeting at a local grocery store’. Stephen added; ‘I started my career in the motor industry as a petrol attendant and have worked my way up over many years’.
Stephen continued; ‘Arthurs are very highly regarded by Vauxhall and their customer satisfaction performance is astounding and this continues year after year resulting in them winning the highly coveted Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award for the seventh time. Arthurs are also one of the top performers in the country for new car market share, so it is great credit to David and Nigel they can maintain such impressive performances so consistently over many years’.
Whilst visiting Arthurs, Stephen made the presentation of the 2019 Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award to Nigel.
The Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award is awarded to the highest performing dealers in the UK from the results of Vauxhall’s Customer Purchase Satisfaction (new car customers) and Service Satisfaction surveys.
Nigel said, ‘we are delighted to have won this award for a seventh time, it is testament to the hard work and dedication to the team here in Oswestry and at our other branch in Newtown. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we are fully committed to delivering a fantastic customer experience, ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels we have gone the extra mile to cater for their needs’.
