Excellent partnership working this week between local businesses, the BID’s Street Rangers and Oswestry Police.
Following a shoplifting incident at a town centre store, the Rangers were contacted, detained the shoplifter, and informed police directly for back-up. Officers attended swiftly, arrested the suspect and secured a charge for the offence. The offender was remanded to put before the next available court.
A recognition of some great work by the store in identifying the theft and the effective communication through the Rangers to the Police.
