Oswestry Borderland Rotary Club recently organised a Young Chef Competition at St. Martins School. This was the first time that the school had been involved with this competition and, it is fair to say, the pupils approached the event with a degree of trepidation. Nevertheless the young people showed both creativity and technical skills and produced a spectrum of interesting dishes; it was a valuable learning experience for all concerned.
