Oswestry Life Magazine Local Hero Awards: Time to Celebrate Our Community Champions!
Autumn has arrived, and winter isn’t far behind – which means it’s once again time for the Oswestry Life Local Hero Awards! Can you believe this is our seventh year? Time really does fly when you’re surrounded by amazing people doing incredible things.
These awards shine a spotlight on the local heroes who go above and beyond, often without expecting anything in return. Whether it’s a neighbour who is always helping others, a dedicated volunteer, or someone quietly making a big difference, this is your opportunity to give them the recognition they truly deserve.
There are 15 award categories, each proudly sponsored by a local business, charity, organisation or supporter. Simply nominate someone who inspires you and tell us why you believe they deserve to win.
Is there someone in your life or community who demonstrates compassion, commitment or courage? If so, now is the time to celebrate them!
Nominations are officially open and the closing date is mid-January 2027
Winners will be announced in the March 2027 issue of Oswestry Life Magazine
A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful sponsors. Your support makes these awards possible and reflects the incredible community spirit found throughout Oswestry and the surrounding area.
Let’s make sure no good deed goes unnoticed. Who will you nominate?
