This year’s Oswestry Christmas light switch on has been planned for 22 November. James Bond from Radio Shropshire will present the show, starting at 4pm on the Bailey Head. Visitors can expect to be entertained by local schools and dance groups and see special guests including characters from the Wizard of Oz and the Marvel movie. The lights will be switched on by town mayor councillor Sandy Best at approximately 6pm.
