Over 50 participants took part in the 2019 5k Bunny Run within the grounds of Moreton Hall School and raised £530 for Hector’s Greyhound Rescue.
Joint organiser James Manford said: “We are extremely thankful for the marshal volunteers from Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club, and Sainsbury’s Oswestry for donating the goody bags. Without their continued support and partnership over the years the event would not be as successful as it is today. We would also like to thank Moreton Hall and their superb maintenance team for their support arranging a fantastic route”.
As well as a great new route, this year also saw an energetic Zumba warm up lead by Moreton Hall’s Alisha Patel-Smith.
James added:” We received an enormous amount of fantastic feedback from all areas of the event and look forward to next year’s run, which will be our 5th year. Due to this milestone, we have already begun our plans for something special which will take place on 5th April 2020″.
