Shropshire Chamber of Commerce has relaunched its networking group for young business people with a fresh brand and exciting timetable of events.
Our Future In Focus is replacing the network formerly known as the 18-35 group, and is specifically targeted at business people under the age of 30, helping them to build new contacts.
The official launch event will be held at the Chamber’s Shrewsbury offices on December 7, and will be a Christmas trivia and networking evening.
“We’ve rebranded the group and are lining up a new set of meeting dates, but the basic mission remains the same,” said Chamber events and training manager Kelly Riedel.
“We want to foster connections among like-minded individuals, enhance personal knowledge, and contribute positively to the Shropshire business community.
“By being a part of Our Future In Focus you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of Shropshire’s business landscape.”
Kelly added: “Becoming part of the group will allow you to expand your horizons, forge new relationships and explore fresh business prospects, as well as learning new skills from peers and experienced professionals.
“We’ll be lining up some engaging talks, fun activities and social interactions, giving you chance to connect with other like-minded young people from various industries and backgrounds, broadening your contact base.
“Being part of Our Future In Focus will also give you chance to voice your opinions on issues that matter the most to you and your business, and take part in topical discussions.”
