A group of Oswestry community-minded knitters have yet again produced the goods with their knitted items supporting local organisations.
They recently sent 87 kindness hearts for the end of life care team at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The beautiful hearts are for both the patients and relatives to keep.
The group have also completed a number of blankets and small bags for Dementia Care. These will be used by patients during hospital stays, which they take home when they leave.
The Crafty Knitters next project is for local charity, Lingen Davies Cancer Care.
If anyone would like to join their friendly group, please get in touch with Angie Mills 01691 650147. They are currently meeting outdoors once a month.
