Oswestry’s multi-award winning Bailey Head pub is celebrating putting its 3000th different draught beer on the bar since it opened in March 2016.

The pub, which is Shrewsbury and West Shropshire CAMRA Pub of the Year and has been a finalist in the Society of Independent Brewers UK’s Best Independent Craft Beer Pub or Bar – Rural 5 years out of 6 and the winner in 2020, prides itself on a continuously changing line up of beers and ciders across 21 of its 25 draught lines.

Landlady Grace Goodlad said “We opened 2695 days ago and have had COVID closures in the middle of it, so to have served 3000 different beers feels like a milestone. We look forward to serving many more.”

The Bailey Head keeps an up to date spreadsheet of all the draught beers it has served on its website. The 3000th beer is Savannah from Twisted Barrel in Coventry, a 4.3% Mosaic and El Dorado hazy pale in cask.
