Oswestry’s Youth Music Festival takes place this week and we’d love to see the town supporting all the performers during the next few days. No tickets are required, the event is completely free, so just sit back and enjoy the music!
There are 452 entrants, which is incredible and music includes anything and everything from Bach to Guns N’ Roses!
The festival has been running for over 40 years and includes a broad range of classes including string, woodwind, brass, piano, percussion, instrumental, vocal, choir and band.
The festival starts on the 1st to the 5th of March 2023 across three venues on Chapel Street in central Oswestry – Christ Church, Hermon Arts, and the Methodist Church. The first performance starts at 9.30am on the 1st of March and closes on Sunday 5th of March with a festival concert and the final competitions.
