This year’s Pant Autumn Bazaar, which takes place on Saturday 14th October in Pant Memorial Hall, aims to bring the community together and raise funds for the upkeep of the hall, which is a registered charity.

The bazaar is being held between 2pm and 4pm for locals and visitors alike and will feature stalls from a number of organisations and charities, as well as refreshments and an opportunity to see the facilities offered in the hall, including a newly refurbished bar area.

There will be a wide selection of local craft-makers and businesses offering a range of unique products and gifts. Items for sale will include jewellery, crystals and candles; hair accessories; baby clothes; pumpkins and locally-grown produce; handmade cards and hand-turned wooden items; resin gifts; decoupage items; bags, cushions and more.

The hall itself will be running a tombola, treasure hunt and bookstall to help raise funds, as well as selling bric-a-brac – perfect for a bargain. For a small donation, visitors will be able to have a selfie with a giant teddy bear.

Proceeds from the sale of teas, coffees and cake will also go towards the upkeep of the hall, which is a valuable asset for the community.

Last year was the 100th anniversary of Pant Memorial Hall and, thanks to the generosity of visitors and stallholders, almost £500 was raised at the hall’s Centenary Fair. Just as importantly, villagers had the opportunity to meet up and enjoy a ‘cuppa’ and a chat.
