Geoff Barr, president of Borderland Rotary Club was on hand to induct Peter Sloane into the club last week.
Peter, who recently moved to the area, has been, until recently, Vice Chancellor of Swansea University and prior to that held the same position at Aberdeen University heading up the Economics faculties. He says he has been most impressed by the warm Shropshire welcome he has received since moving here a year ago.
