On Wednesday 17th May, The Friends of the Marches are inviting members of the community and staff to attend a Quiz Night in aid of The Marches School.
The quiz is open to staff, parents and the wider community to battle their general knowledge from 7:00 pm at The Marches School.
Tickets cost £5 per head, to include table wine and snacks, with a maximum of 6 members per team. Raffle prizes also available to be won during the evening with the final winners of the quiz receiving a £100 voucher to spend at local Italian restaurant, Lepones.
Martyn Hubbard, Chair of The Friends of The Marches commented, “We are hoping that the quiz night will be a launch for greater achievements from The Friends of the Marches. We can only achieve this with help from the wider school community, parents and carers, staff and students.”
He continued, “Please come along, support the school and introduce yourself! Come prepared for a testing mix of questions, a great prize for the winning team and an evening of fun for a great cause.”
This will be the first of many future events which will raise funds to support the school and its students.
