Forever After Occasion Boutique was formed after owner Michelle, was made redundant for the second time in less than a year. With a love of meeting new people and with a passion for all things wedding, Michelle decided to follow her dream.
With only a few options within town for occasion clothes shopping, Michelle wanted to do something that not only had she always wanted to do, but also help expand the retail sector of Oswestry. Since last year has somewhat changed the high street for us all in a very short period, it is great to see new ventures springing to life and providing shoppers with more unique options around town. We all love to get our hands on an item of clothing especially something as special as a wedding dress – to hold it up against us in a mirror, so Michelle decided to go for it and take up a shop in the market with her new venture.
“We opened our doors on the 30th of June 2021 in the indoor market Oswestry.
We are a small occasion boutique that sells an array of wedding and occasional wear from cocktail dresses, bags and shoes to wedding dresses, veils and tiaras and a whole lot more,” said Michelle. You will find the boutique on the upper level at the indoor market, which sells occasion wear all year round.
As the wedding season is now coming to a close but for a few over the next coming months, wedding items will still be very much available from the boutique. So, if you are a bride to be or wedding guest, pop along for some shopping.
“I have been lucky enough to catch a wedding fair before the traditional season comes to a close and took the opportunity to have a stall at the Wynnstay Hotel back in September, so I could showcase my products.”
We are now coming into winter party and ball season too, so the Autumn/Winter collection of dress wear will be available to browse from Wednesday 3rd November, ready for Christmas. If you need a cocktail dress, you will find plenty of options along with the perfect accessories such as shoes, bags, luxury scarfs, and lots more. Get yourself ready to party for Christmas and New Year celebrations!

Michelle said, “We do sell pre-loved items such as wedding and bridesmaid dresses and on occasion we do take in pre-loved on a commission basis. If you would like to talk to me about an item, please ask when visiting the shop.”
