A Shropshire PR agency has welcomed a new digital account manager to the team as the business celebrates its 6th anniversary and a record breaking year.
Jan Minihane has joined the team at J&PR Ltd based in Wellington to enhance the digital offering of the company.
Rhea Alton and former Oswestry woman Kirsty Smallman, directors of the agency at The Glebe Centre, said Jan’s wealth of experience and excellent reputation would ensure they could continue the growth of the business.
Jan, founder of The Net Advantage and the UK Paleo Awards, will be managing the retained digital clients for the company and also joining Kirsty to co-host PR and social media training days and one-to-one mentoring sessions.
Kirsty, who joined Rhea in business six years ago, said: “Jan was one of the first people I met at networking when we launched J&PR six years ago this month.
“Jan’s knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and social media management and consultancy is exactly what we needed at J&PR.
“We have had a wonderful reaction from our clients as we have introduced Jan as a member of our team and we are very much looking forward to working together.
“Many of them have worked with Jan in the past and are extremely pleased to welcome her back.”
J&PR has clients in North Wales, across Shropshire and into the West Midlands.
Rhea said: “We dedicate our time to ensuring our retained clients are fully serviced and we are leading successful campaigns for them – both digitally and not forgetting the more traditional PR campaigns too.
“We have been very successful over the last 12 months in scooping many new contracts including covering maternity leave periods within press offices at various business and charities, working with an international financial crime and compliance business, retaining two agricultural shows, launching a new Shropshire festival and a £2 million fundraising campaign for a community group, as well as securing a contract with an independent school.
“It’s safe to say no day is ever the same at J&PR.”
Kirsty said J&PR was proud to be working with their original clients who started with the firm six years ago.
“The fact we are still working with many of the same clients as we were six years ago is testimony to the service we provide and the fantastic members of our team,” she said.
“Jan will be working with clients on our very successful one-to-one two hour mentoring programme where the clients spend the time working on one aspect of their business – this might be creating a PR plan and writing a press release, blogging, creating a social media schedule or creating their first e-newsletter together.”
