The old Greggs/Bakers Oven store on Church Street has a new lease of life after being taken on by friends Sam Thurston and Laurie Jones.

The pair have transformed the building into an art supplies, stationery and copy and print store called Meraki Colour.

“We’ve both been in the (art supplies) industry for a combined total of 36 years,” says Laurie.

“We decided to set up on our own as we have such a love and passion for what we do and it’s always been a dream to open our own shop. We’re so lucky to have such a prime location in the town and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
