North Shropshire College (NSC) is delighted to show its support for a new 79 seat screening of “The Oswestry Heritage Bake-off” film, which will be shown during a free afternoon screening at the local Kinokulture cinema on Arthur Street on the 9th September at 4:40pm.
The film was shot at NSC’s Oswestry Campus, with the Assistance of Business Lecturers Sarah Probert and Andrew Allen and was filmed as part of the Town’s 2016 programme of events for Heritage Open Days; a nationwide series of events designed to help boost community engagement with the preservation of History and Culture, and in Oswestry’s case the Old Oswestry Hill fort.
The film depicts Oswestry’s own exciting Bake-off competition over the course of a single action packed day and features a very talented cast and crew of local people, including representatives from Oswestry Borough Council and was produced by the HOOOH Community Group and Joe Edwards and Bethan Jones of Wrexham based company Filmage.
Lucy Evans, Marketing and Customer Service Manager at NSC comments “We are delighted that we have been able to provide support for such a worthwhile and important project for the Town, and the College would also like to thank our Business Studies Lecturer’s Sarah and Andrew for their assistance as well.”
