An Oswestry salon is not only celebrating their 1st anniversary in business, but they have officially being crowned the best salon in Shropshire.
The salon was recently anonymously nominated by someone for being the best salon in Shropshire. Which then their clients voted for them, leading Salon XV to win which currently makes them The Best Salon in Shropshire.
Since opening in April 2022 it has been a whirlwind with Salon XV now heading for Best Salon in the England’s Business Awards.
Sam and Martyn who are partners in business and life, have both been in the hair industry for over 20 years.
Sam has worked for It&ly Hair Fashion (Telford), Vidal Sassoon (Telford) and then at Toni & Guy for 17 years starting in Shrewsbury, a stint in Telford and 14 years at Oswestry Toni & Guy as the manager.
Martyn started his training with Francesco Group at their Staffordshire training academy. Then worked at Martanne Hairdressing and then went to work for the Wow franchise based in the Midlands. Martyn wanted to continued mastering his technical skills so re-joined Francesco Group, where he was based at the Telford store for 5 years as their Technical Director. Martyn then worked 5 years as a manager at Black Orchid Salons
Both Martyn and Sam are Wella Colour Master Experts. Salon XV offers two premium product lines which are Sebastian and the second is Maria Nila. Maria Nila is a Swedish brand that is vegan, 100% cruelty free and has sustainable packaging.
