Local dairy businesses Yareal and RJ & EW Taylor joined forces to enter 7 Jersey Cows at Oswestry Show on Saturday, some from Trefarclawdd Farm and some from Blodwell Hall.
On a very wet and muddy showground, the Trefarclawdd team had a fantastic debut into the showing circuit, achieving Reserve Champion in both the Jersey Championship and the Interbreed Group of 3 Championship.
The Blodwell team, returned to showing after 12 years and came out on top. They achieved Jersey Champion which led to winning the Overall Dairy Interbreed Championship with the very aptly named Blodwell Victorious Erin. Roger Taylor, owner of Blodwell, was absolutely delighted with such a prestigious achievement.
