Students from the University of Chester recently visited The Marches School to deliver a drama workshop to Year 10 students.
Three second year university Drama students led an hour long workshop specifically prepared for GCSE Drama students. They prepared some devising exercises and supported the students with their understanding of the theatrical style ‘Theatre in Education’.
Miss Wright, Miss McGreal, Mrs Gilpin and Mr Dipple all attended the workshop with the students and thoroughly enjoyed the hour. Miss Wright commented, “This was really beneficial for our students and what they learned will support them in their practical exam performances.”
