St Kilda’s hotel has been confirmed as the destination for Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s Llandudno holiday in 2020.

Sitting at the very centre of the sweeping Promenade, right opposite the band stand, this family-run hotel is perfectly located for accessing all the facilities Llandudno has to offer. All rooms have en-suite facilities and are equipped with direct dial telephones, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, radio and flat screen TV.

St Kilda’s is run by Ken and Margaret Jones, resident proprietors for over two decades, supported by their team of dedicated staff. From the sociable bar to the quiet lounge (with sea view), the wide variety of evening entertainment to a daily-changing menu, offering traditional homemade food using fresh local ingredients, this small and friendly hotel ensures that there is plenty on offer to suit everyone’s taste.

The week long break to Llandudno has been run by Age UK Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin for over 16 years to support local older people who find it difficult to travel on holiday independently. Since then the holiday has proven to be very popular with demand for places exceeding supply year on year.

Heather Osborne, Chief Executive of Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin, said: ‘I am delighted to be able to confirm arrangements for the return of our Llandudno holiday in 2020. Ken, Margaret and the team at St Kilda’s have been so very helpful, friendly and accommodating and are as excited about welcoming us next year as we are about going.’

The dates for the 2020 holiday are 30 May to 6 June. With just over 60 rooms St Kilda’s is a smaller hotel than previously used, so a fewer number of places will be available.
