wins Private Hospital Group of the Year for a third time

 

 

13th June 2019: Nuffield Health picked up the award for Private Hospital Group of the Year for the third time at the Health Investor Awards 2019. The award is designed to recognise outstanding contribution to healthcare over the past 12 months, through innovation and excellence in healthcare products and services.

Nuffield Health differentiates its approach through personalised, connected services spanning the health and wellbeing continuum. By connecting its health and wellbeing services, Nuffield Health are pioneering a unique form of personalised healthcare. 94% of its hospitals have received a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ rating from independent regulators, In 2018, the Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital was the first acute non-specialist hospital in England to receive an ‘Outstanding’ rating for safety from the CQC for its “robust implementation and embedding of safety systems and processes.”  

Nuffield Health have maintained our focus on continuous quality improvement and embedding a culture of transparency and learning across the charity.  At the end of 2017, Nuffield Health reorganised and  implemented a new Quality and Assurance team – a statement of how highly Nuffield Health values quality outcomes and ensuring a clearer, more robust line of governance to create the ‘voice of assurance’ at an executive level. 

In accepting the award, Chief Executive Officer, Steve Gray said: “It’s great to be recognised three years in a row as leaders in healthcare excellence. This reflects our teams’ consistent hard work, relentless focus on patient safety, quality and outcomes and their commitment to be the best for our patients.”

Nuffield Health was selected from a finalist group of five private hospital groups within the UK.
