The Marches School hosted an Open Evening on 21st June which proved to be extremely popular with the next intake of pupils and their parents.
Year 4 and 5 pupils and their parents and carers attended the event, and they were all treated to a tour of the school facilities and witnessed a variety of lessons across the departments in the school.
Headteacher, Mrs Alison Pearson, gave talks to everybody in attendance explaining how children are placed firmly at the centre of all we do; that we pride ourselves on offering a wealth of opportunities allowing all in the learning community to experience success in many different ways and at a variety of levels.
Staff were on hand to answer questions and talk about the extra-curricular activities on offer, the transport facility and enrichment opportunities available.
The next Open Evening will be on Thursday 20th September, and pupils in Years 5 and 6 are encouraged to attend. For further information on Open Evenings and Admissions, please contact reception on 01691 664400 or admin@marchesschool.net.
Alison Pearson, Associate Headteacher at the Marches School, commented: “The Summer Open Evening proved to be a massive success and it was wonderful to see the future waves of students that will be attending the school in years to come. We would like to thank everyone who attended and we look forward to meeting new students at our next Open Evening in September”.
