Snowden (15)

Director Oliver Stone (Platoon, JFK) is no stranger to controversy and this; his latest thriller, continues his reputation for turning the spotlight on some of the more dubious aspects of America’s recent history. The ever reliable Joseph Gordon Levitt takes the lead role as Edward Snowden – who on leaving the National Security Agency, decided to expose the organisation’s surveillance techniques by leaking thousands of classified documents to the public; making him a hero in the eyes of some and a traitor to others.
