Ethan Lee-Birch of Oswestry will be taking to the water at Oswestry Leisure Centre in an attempt to swim 8,000 metres to raise money for Cancer Research.
14 year old Ethan, a pupil at The Marches School was inspired after his Granddad was recently diagnosed with cancer.
